There are daily and 7 day rewards plus some daily event rewards. Their system is fair, but is still present. If I did not log in, I would be missing out.
It's a collection game, and this collection is achieved through grinding and/or money. Over the course of time, account value will increase.
All of the shops use anchoring and even offer a 'daily login' package that gives you more currency for your money if you log in daily to collect it.
