Recent Dark Pattern Reviews

Playing by Appointment reported on Jan 13, 2023
Makes you login everyday at certain times for useless bonus items
Anchoring Tricks reported on Jan 13, 2023
The game uses their gem currency to make things seem a lot less expensive than they are. For example: most dragons cost about 1500 gems, and they never put the cost of gems next to the dragon’s cost. So people end up spending 50.00 US dollars, because of the difference between gems and US dollars. 1500 gems = 50.00 US dollars
Wait To Play reported on Jan 13, 2023
Everything in this game is on a timer
Artificial Scarcity reported on Jan 13, 2023
Many events around Easter, Christmas, etc, that urge you to spend money as soon as possible.
Premium Currency reported on Jan 13, 2023
Gems are a “rare” in game currency. The most expensive gem package is 100 US dollars. The app hopes that you end up spending a whole lot of money on gems, because most items cost gems.
Advertisements reported on Jan 13, 2023
Currently there is a “offer” for gems you can do. You can complete multiple scams and intrusive quizzes just for a couple of gems. They use the quizzes to ask you personal information for their advertisements. The quizzes often ask about details about your job, state of living, and even your medical care. Most of the “quizzes” also ask about previous cancer experiences, in hopes to profit off that as well.
Grinding reported on Jan 13, 2023
You have to repeatedly spend hours and hours just waiting, to get useless “rare” dragons.
Daily Rewards reported on Jan 13, 2023
Every action you do has a timer for its completion, if you don’t login at the right time for the timer you might lose the things you were trying to do.
Infinite Treadmill reported on Sep 12, 2022
New dragons are always coming out, making it impossible to truly complete your collection.
Fear of Missing Out reported on Sep 12, 2022
The constant monthly events.
